Liz is currently pursuing her PhD in Postcolonial Studies at the University of Birmingham, and her work revolves around British Protestant Missionary activity in the Indian state of Kerala. She holds a master’s degree in English Literature from Stella Maris College (University of Madras) and a bachelor’s degree in English Literature from Wilson College (University of Mumbai). Liz has attained valuable skills from her experience at national dailies such as The Times of India and Malayala Manorama, which enabled her to develop skills in data analysis and communication, along with time management and news reporting. Additionally, she is also a part of the Exams Office at the University of Birmingham, which has given her experience in student management and data handling in the Higher Education sector. Liz is passionate about Christian mission and is actively involved in church and youth activities at Birmingham Pentecostal Fellowship, where she also serves as a teacher for A-level students.
